M.D. Dermatology, Venereology & Leprology or Doctor of Medicine in Dermatology, Venereology & Leprology is a postgraduate Dermatology program. The MD degree is a higher degree and representative of specialty training. The course encompasses various subjects like Basic pathological reactions of the skin, Biology & Development of skin genetics in relation to skin the structure and development of skin, Basic Dermatopathology, Immunology of dermatological disease, Cellular and molecular biology of inflammation, repair & carcinogenesis. The course deals with the patient without confining care to genitourinary problems.
