Course Description
- Ph.D in computer science and engineering is the doctoral level course offered to the students for advanced learning and research in the area of computer science.
- The duration of this course is 3 years. It spreads over 6 semesters.
- Students can pursue this course full-time as well as part-time.A candidate who obtained a doctorate degree will be designated as “Dr.”
- Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering focuses on the in-depth knowledge of computer science field.
- It is basically the research-oriented programme which enables the candidates to become a researcher and carry out independent research in the chosen field.Applicants of this course are expected to have a strong background in computer science. The course mainly focuses on thesis work.
- The research is carried out in the areas of artificial intelligence, algorithms, computer and network security, data mining, bioinformatics, cloud computing, computer architecture etc.
