B.T.A. or Bachelor of Tourism Administration is an undergraduate Travel and Tourism course. Tourism Studies includes the study of tourism management, tourism development, tourism marketing, transportation industry, hotel management, etc. Degree course mainly covers the study of topics such as tourist resort planning, food service management, ecology, environment and tourism, inter-cultural communication, etc. The course has a great value and importance in today’s time as tourism became the hub of economic development of every country. Bachelor of Tourism Administration (B.T.A.) Course Eligibility
- The basic eligibility criterion for pursuing B.A. (Tourism Studies) degree is qualifying 10+2 or equivalent examination in any stream from a recognized board of the country. A candidate who has passed from any other University or Board of Examinations in any state recognized as equivalent to the Plus Two of the Higher with not less than 40% marks in aggregate, is eligible for admission.
- However, SC/ST, OBC, and other eligible communities shall be given relaxation as per University rules.
