M.Sc. Fashion Design and Technology or Master of Science in Fashion Design and Technology is a postgraduate Fashion and Interior Designing course. Fashion Design and Technology is concerned with creating innovative and inspiring garments that enhance the body, personality and character of individuals. M.Sc. in Fashion Designing can be divided into three main branches as Garment design, Leather design, Accessory and Jewellery design. M.Sc. in Fashion Technology is two years and the minimum time to complete it is two years. These two years are divided into two parts of one year each. Fashion technology mainly comprises of two fields i.e. designing and technical entry. In the designing sector, one should have his or her own creativity to develop his or her designs in the upcoming fashion world. Another important aspect is the technical side where the students need to study the various types of machines and its work in the field of fashion.

• Aspiring students should have a bachelor’s degree for doing M.Sc. in fashion technology. The student should have a minimum age of 21 years for pursuing M.Sc. degree in fashion technology.
• For taking admission in this course one should clear any one of the fashion related exams which is conducted by many renounced colleges including NIFT, NIFD, MET Noida, Academy of fashion technology etc.
