M.E. Thermal Engineering or Master of Engineering in Thermal Engineering is a postgraduate Thermal Engineering course. Thermal Engineering is the heating or cooling of processes, equipment, or enclosed environments. It is more than a way of controlling heat and temperature rise in a computer. Thermal engineering requires designers to pay attention to every aspect of heat generation and removal in an electronics system. The duration of the program is generally two years, but it may vary from institute to institute and also may be on a part-time basis by certain institutes. The syllabus for the course is divided into four semesters plus some electives.
