About Course
Master of Technology in Computer Aided Design Course Details
M.Tech. Computer Aided Design or Master of Technology in Computer-Aided Design is a two-year postgraduate Computer Engineering program. Computer-aided design (CAD), also known as computer-aided design and drafting (CADD), is the use of computer systems to assist in the creation, modification, analysis, or optimization of a design. The course describes the process of creating a technical drawing with the use of computer software. Computer-Aided Design invites papers reporting new research, as well as novel or particularly significant applications, within a wide range of topics, spanning all stages of the design process from concept creation to manufacture and beyond. CAD often involves the use of computer software, like AutoCAD, to design objects for both presentation and actual construction. CAD programs focus on computerized architectural drafting in 2D and 3D, applied mathematics, surveying, and structural design.
