M. Tech. - Electrical Power Systems Course Details
M. Tech. - Electrical Power Systems is known as Master of Technology in Electrical Power Systems, which is a postgraduate degree program. Electrical Power System deals with the skill techniques in power system analysis, stability, planning, reliability, and forecasting. This course provides an advanced training in electrical power systems covering the theoretical, practical and management aspects of generation, transmission, and utilization of power. It includes the subjects such as Power System Planning and Reliability, Power System Dynamics, Flexible AC Transmission Systems, Electrical Transients in Power Systems etc. as well as the advanced topics in microprocessor and microcontrollers. During this course, students will know about the process of reforms in power sector through Deregulation and Restructuring.
Moreover, students who hold Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering can apply for this Master degree. Once they will gain this degree, they can find many job profiles such as Senior Engineer, Engineering Executive, Power electronics Designer and etc.
