Ph.D. in Engineering and Technology is a 3 - 5 years’ Doctorate course in the field of Engineering and technology. The knowledge of computer science and its technical know-how is the prerequisite for the Ph.D. Engineering and Technology programme.
Candidates who have completed the post graduation in the field of Computer Science are considered eligible for Ph.D. in Engineering and Technology. Eligible candidates must appear before an entrance examination and then the counselling round before getting their admissions done in a particular college in Ph.D. Engineering and Technology course.
Ph.D. in Engineering and Technology: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates having a postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Pharmacy or Engineering and Technology from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate of 55% are considered eligible for the Ph.D. in Engineering and Technology course.

- NET JRF:- National Eligibility Test for Junior Research Fellowship is conducted by NTA on behalf of UGC twice a year for admission in research courses such as M.Phil. and Ph.D.
- TIFR GS:- It is a national level entrance exam conducted by TIFR itself for admissions in integrated course of M.Sc. and Ph.D. conducted in offline mode.
