Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Nutrition Course Details
B.Sc. Food Science and Nutrition or Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Nutrition is an undergraduate Food Technology program. Food & Nutrition concerns with the field of Science and in this course main emphasis is given on food, nutrition, diet and their production, management, preservation, etc. Bachelor of Science in Food & Nutrition is generally three academic year course. It may be provided on a part-time basis by certain institutes. The course focuses on the interface between Human Nutrition and Food Science as well as an integration of the two disciplines. It is designed to meet the increasing demand for nutrition scientists who in addition have a thorough knowledge of Food Science and Technology with respect to food processing, preservation, storage, quality assurance, and nutritional implication.
Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Nutrition Eligibility
- Candidates should have passed 10+2 with minimum 45% marks in aggregate or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized school board.
